Pixhush is a free collection of image tools: compress, convert, resize, crop, remove backgrounds, blur faces, strip EXIF metadata, add watermarks, generate favicons and extract text from images.

What makes it different: almost every other online image tool uploads your file to a server to process it. Pixhush does not. Everything happens locally in your browser using WebAssembly and on-device AI models, so your photos stay on your device. It is faster, it works offline after the first load, and it is genuinely private.

How it works: modern browsers can run near-native code through WebAssembly. Pixhush uses real, battle-tested codecs and models compiled to run right on your machine. There is no upload step and no waiting in a queue.

Free and open: all tools are free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no file-size limits, because the work runs on your own hardware rather than ours.

How it stays free: Pixhush is supported by unobtrusive ads. Those ads are page-level only - they are completely separate from the image tools and never receive your files, which are still processed entirely on your device.
